There’s no better way to improve your language skills than by immersing into another culture… and that’s just what you’ll do in this program. From lessons in grammar and listening comprehension to oral expression, 你将获得或磨练你的西班牙语技能. Interactions with locals and other students at the University of Belgrano will further enhance your immersion experience. Whether you’re a beginning Spanish speaker or speak at an advanced level, this engaging program will improve your Spanish language proficiency.

程序结构

Choose a 4-week session in June or July, or combine two sessions in June-July. 每学期，你将报名参加一门语言课程. 课程为120课时/每学期6学分. Students in the 4-week session may earn a total of up to 6 credits (up to 120 contact hours); students who combine sessions may earn a total of up to 12 credits (up to 240 contact hours).

你周一到周五每天上5个小时的课. Active learning components required by your courses may be scheduled for Fridays.

You’ll take a language placement test prior to your departure to 布宜诺斯艾利斯 and will have an opportunity to re-test upon arrival. You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability and the results of your language placement test. 如果你在夏季连续参加课程, you’ll have the opportunity to re-test your language level at the end of each session, 并可能进入更高的层次. To ensure that you receive credit for the language level you place into, have your home school pre-approve courses at several levels before you leave for 阿根廷. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.

A World Heritage Site, Colonia was founded by the Portuguese in 1680. The historic quarter still captures the look and feel of the colonial era in Latin America.
